Due to a growing number of non-payer bidders, I have decided to add this page to record people who are no longer permitted  to bid at our sales for reasons of non-payment or bounced checks. Their name will be removed should they decide to make good on the funds due. I will always give advance notice that their name will be added to avoid unnecessary embarrassment - in most cases 6 months to a year has transpired without any feedback from the person in question. Sorry to have to air my dirty laundry but I'm hoping it will slow down this trend. I encourage other auctions houses to do the same.

2/27/10 - STOLEN ARTICLES: The lot of 8 gold rings and several lots of silver coins were stolen during pickup at our last sale. We know the person who stole them, but the NY State police who are handling the case, need additional  witnesses to help in the prosecution. Bernardo Centeno - Hudson NY -  Non-paying bidder - Purchased over $3000 at our Sept. 2009 Americana sale. Never picked up or paid for items. Items were resold in January, 2010.

Neil Sands - NY -  Bounced check in the amount of $960.50. Non-working number - plans are to turn over to Sheriff's for collection.

Clive Blunt - Red Bank NJ. d/b/a Consortium of Craftsman. Bounced check in the amount of $836. Said he would send another check but never did. Now he is unreachable by phone and does not accept my certified mail.

David & Thea Maguire - Lake Placid NY. Purchased over $2000 worth of merchandise in Americana sale. Bounced check. Made partial payment in August 2009, but now is not reachable by phone and mail has been returned. Will be turned over to Sheriff's dept. for collection.

Brian Vazquez - Trumbell CT. Purchased $1200 worth of merchandise. Bounced check. Partial payment received for $500 but now fails to return calls or respond to certified mail. Will be turned over to Sheriff's dept. for collection.

xxxxx - NJ. Purchased $400 military items which were mailed to him inadvertently by shipper without getting charge card. Does not return calls. Waiting for response within next few days before posting name.
